Why people switch from Google to True Search
Google has changed. True Search is built for the way you actually want to search now — honest results, real answers, no surveillance.
Zero sponsored results.
Google fills the top of every search with paid links you can't tell apart from the real winners. We pull from an independent index that doesn't inject ads into search rankings to begin with — so what you see is ordered purely by relevance.
Up to 4 paid links removed per query
Two AI cards on every search — Answer and Summary.
Llama 3.3 70B reads the top organic sources and writes a cited AI Answer to your query — click any [1] to verify. Below it, an AI Summary of these results describes the actual page in front of you: what the top sources cover, where they agree, where they differ. Google's "AI Overview" and Perplexity write generic answers; only True Search tells you what's on this page so you can decide what to click.

Two AI buttons on every link — peek inside, or read it for you.
Every web result, news article and video carries a pair of chips. AI Preview writes a 3-5 bullet "should I click?" so you stop wasting tabs. AI Summary goes further — a comprehensive multi-section read (Overview · Key points · Takeaway) so you can genuinely understand the page without clicking through. Our server fetches the page, extracts the body text, and Llama 3.3 70B does the rest. Google and Bing make you click first to find out you guessed wrong. Cached server-side and in your browser, so re-opening is instant.

Score by location — does this result actually help you?
One click on the AI Summary card and Llama 3.3 70B grades every top result 0–100 for relevance to where you are, with a colored bar and a one-sentence verdict. A "best plumber" search in Brooklyn stops surfacing pages about plumbers in Brisbane. Your location is detected once (or you type it) and cached per-tab — Google forces you to add "near me" and still gets it wrong.

Score by authority — gold, silver, bronze, grey.
The other AI button on the Summary card grades each top result by source credibility — peer-reviewed journals, official docs and major newsrooms get gold; SEO content farms and forum reposts get grey. You see at a glance which links to trust before clicking — exactly the kind of signal Google buried so they could keep selling ad-position to whoever pays.

Google never sees you.
Your query goes to us, not to google.com. No tracking pixels. No cross-site advertising profile. We don't even load Google Fonts or Google's favicon API — your browser literally never talks to Google while you search.
Zero requests to google.com from your browser
Export any search — three ways, one click.
The Export menu on every results page saves what you're looking at three ways: as a clean .txt file for notes, as a standalone clickable .html page you can open in any browser and click straight through, or as an HTML export of the AI Answer + AI Summary with every [1] rewritten as a link to the original source. Filters, dates, domains, snippets — all captured. Google has never offered any of this.

Live pages, not week-old cached snippets.
Google's snippet under every result is whatever their crawler saw the last time it visited — could be yesterday, could be a month ago. When you hit AI Preview on True Search, our server fetches the link at that moment through a real headless browser and summarises what's on it right now. Live pricing, live stock counts, live news updates, live discussion threads — never a stale carbon copy. Same for the AI Summary at the top: it describes the page Brave's index is serving you this second, not a snapshot from last Tuesday.

Power Search — describe what you want, get a perfect operator query.
Google has a power-search page hidden three menus deep that nobody uses. Ours is a single click in the header — and it's AI-powered. Type "peer-reviewed PDFs about transformer architectures on .edu sites since 2024" into the builder and Llama 3.3 70B fills in all 15 operators for you: site:.edu, filetype:pdf, after:2024-01-01, exact phrases, excluded domains, title/URL/body matches, the lot. Watch the live query string compose as you tweak. Then run it on True Search, Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo — your call.
- ✗Google: 15 operators, zero help, you memorise the syntax or you don't use them.
- ✓True Search: describe it in English, AI builds the query, every operator visual, instant live preview.

The killer feature Google won't ship
Take control of your results — instantly.
Google gives you one knob: a "Tools" menu with three time ranges. That's it. True Search puts a full control panel above every search — sort by authority, hide forums and social, dedupe to one result per site, restrict to PDFs, jump straight to results from the past 24 hours, switch to a 3-column grid. Every change is instant, runs entirely in your browser, and remembers your preferences across searches.
- ✗Google: ~3 time filters, no sorting, no chips, no dedup, no layout choice.
- ✓True Search: 4 sorts × 8 time ranges × 5 chips × 4 layouts — stackable, instant, persistent across pages and queries.
