The eight worth memorising

If you only commit a handful to muscle memory, these eight will dramatically lift the quality of every search you ever run — here, on Google, anywhere:

site: — confine to one site
"…" — exact phrase
- — exclude a word or site
filetype: — only PDFs, spreadsheets, etc.
intitle: — must be in the title
inurl: — must be in the URL
OR — either term matches
* — wildcard word

Combining operators

Chain operators together for surgical precision. Each clause is space-separated; quotes group multi-word values.
