Terms of Service

1. The Service

True Search is a meta-search engine that retrieves publicly available web, image and news results from third-party providers (currently the Brave Search API, which serves results from Brave's own independent web index) and presents them with paid placements removed. We may also generate AI-assisted summaries using third-party language models. The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit automated, scripted or bulk queries, including scraping result pages.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, APIs or credentials.
• Search for, distribute or attempt to retrieve unlawful, infringing or harmful content.
• Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying providers.
• Misrepresent the source of AI-generated summaries (for example, presenting them as your own original analysis without attribution to the cited sources).

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.

3. Search results and AI answers

Search results and AI summaries are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. They originate from third-party indexes and language models and may be incomplete, out of date, biased, or factually incorrect. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before acting on it. Inline citations link to the source — please use them.

True Search does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of any third-party website that appears in results.

4. Advertising

We do not allow paid placements to influence search rankings. The Service may display clearly labeled "Advertisement" units that are visually separated from organic results. These ads do not affect the order, selection or filtering of results.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos and original content, is owned by Indusbridge Digital and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written permission, except for the limited personal use permitted by these Terms.

Third-party content surfaced in results remains the property of its respective owners.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indusbridge Digital and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed USD 100.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Brave Search, Groq and OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). Your interactions with content sourced through those providers may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Indusbridge Digital is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
